Ortur F20 1.3 W IR (1064 nm) is a desktop laser engraver for small-batch production of items made of wood and leather. Assembling and setting up equipment usually takes hours before the first item is made. Here, that step is eliminated: the engraver arrives fully assembled. All you need to do is connect the power and run your first design. Safety goggles and starter materials are already in the package.

Key features and benefits

  • Engraving speed: up to 15,000 mm/min — You process the same batch of items 2.5 times faster than on a typical machine running at 6000 mm/min.
  • Laser spot: 0.005 mm² — Portraits, feathers and fine fonts keep sharp outlines without blurred lines.
  • Working area: 150 × 150 mm — The compact body sits on a work desk and accepts workpieces of this size.
  • Supplied assembled: the engraver requires no assembly, so the first trials begin straight after connecting to the power supply.
  • All-metal construction: the rigid frame eliminates vibrations, and the contour stays accurate at high speed.
  • Collision protection: if the unit is tilted or moved beyond the edge of the table, an alarm sounds and the device stops immediately.

Ready to work straight out of the box

Complicated setup and hours of assembly delay the first item. The Ortur F20 1.3 W IR (1064 nm) engraver arrives fully assembled. No assembly is needed. You take the device out of the box, connect it to the power supply and start it. The package includes professional safety goggles and starter materials, so the first design can be completed without any extra purchases.

Speed that increases output

Processing time determines production volume. The engraving speed reaches 15,000 mm/min, whereas typical models work at 6000 mm/min. That is 2.5 times faster. So in the same amount of time you complete a larger volume of work without any loss of quality.

Same working time: the Ortur completes the full reindeer design on wood, while other engravers complete only part of it

Precision in fine details

Portraits, feathers and fine fonts require a very small spot. A laser spot with an area of 0.005 mm² produces a thinner engraving line. Intricate patterns are rendered noticeably more precisely than on other engravers. Details remain legible even at a small scale.

Metal frame without vibrations

High speed requires a rigid base. The all-metal construction keeps the engraving stable and eliminates vibrations. The contour stays accurate. The compact body takes up little space on the desk, and the working area is 150 × 150 mm.

Software, formats and connectivity

The workflow depends on the software you already use. The Ortur F20 1.3 W IR (1064 nm) works with a wide range of programs, connection methods and file formats. Ready-made designs in JPG, SVG or DXF are imported directly. The choice is yours.

  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi or USB.
  • Control systems: PC (Windows, macOS), tablet, smartphone (iOS, Android).
  • Software: LaserGRBL, LightBurn and dedicated mobile apps.
  • File formats: NC, GC, DXF, BP, JPG, AI, SVG, PNG and others.

Protection during operation

Laser radiation requires protection for both the equipment and the eyes. Collision protection triggers an alarm and stops the device immediately if it is tilted or moved beyond the edge of the table. Goggles are included in the package. They effectively block laser light and protect the operator's eyes.

Materials for different items

The choice of material determines the range of items. The engraver works with wood, leather, slate, felt and paper, and the list is not limited to these materials. One device covers tasks from paper decorations to slate coasters.

Applications

The engraver covers tasks from home projects to commercial use. Each scenario relies on a specific characteristic of the device.

  • Personalised gifts: the 0.005 mm² laser spot renders portraits, feathers and fine fonts on wood and leather with sharp outlines.
  • Small-batch production: a speed of up to 15,000 mm/min shortens the time for a batch of key rings and tags, so more items are produced in the same amount of time.
  • Educational kits: wooden puzzles and educational busy boards are made within the 150 × 150 mm working area.
  • Leather accessories: phone case designs in AI, SVG or PNG formats are loaded through LightBurn or LaserGRBL.
  • Home decor: slate coasters and festive decorations are made with slides on a tablet or smartphone when control runs over Wi-Fi.
