Storage and handling

• Cooling before replacement: before removal, allow the build chamber to cool completely to room temperature, otherwise burns or cuts from quartz glass fragments may occur.
• Handling the quartz tube: hold the heater only while wearing nitrile gloves, as a chip or crack in the glass can cause the tube to explode when switched on.
• De-energising the printer: disconnect the printer from the mains and wait five minutes before removing any covers, to avoid electric shock.
