The Formlabs Fuse X1 Vacuum Conveyor 230 V is a vacuum powder-conveying module for the SLS printing system. It moves fresh and reclaimed powder between the printer, the sifter and the mixing station. The device runs on a standard European mains supply and is supplied with a complete mounting kit. The modular design allows additional conveyors to be added to scale up the production line.

How the conveying system works
The Formlabs Fuse X1 Vacuum Conveyor 230 V forms the basic powder conveying unit for the Fuse X1 platform. One conveyor draws fresh powder directly into the printer's hopper, eliminating manual pouring and the dust generation associated with it. The second conveyor moves sieved, reclaimed powder from the Fuse Sift X1 to the Mix Kit or another chosen mixing station. This returns material to the production cycle without additional operator steps.
Hardware and mounting
Each vacuum conveyor is supplied with a mounting kit and a vacuum hose. This means connecting it to the Fuse X1 or Fuse Sift X1 requires no additional purchases. The standard mounting fixture speeds up installation of the module onto an existing printer or sifter housing.
Module installation is shown here using the example of connecting it to a printer housing: the cylindrical conveyor body is secured directly to the equipment panel with metal fittings.
Scaling up the production line
