Bambu Lab Engineering Plate X1 P1 A1 P2 Series

Bambu Lab Engineering Plate build plate for X1 Series, P1 Series, A1, P2 Series — a universal printing surface. It is designed to work with high-temperature filaments. A thickness of 0.5 mm and surface heat resistance of up to 120 °C allow a single plate to be used for the entire range of materials. The usable printing area is 256 × 256 mm.

The printing surface of the plate, shown below, combines a durable coating with a handle for convenient removal of printed parts.

Plate features

  • Universal for all filaments. After applying a layer of glue, the surface is suitable for printing with any material in the range, so there is no need to select a separate plate for each plastic.
  • Durable coating. The updated coating increases resistance to temperature, scratches and corrosion, withstanding prolonged high-temperature printing and hundreds of cycles of washing and part removal.
  • Flat print surface. The smooth base forms an even, flat texture on the bottom surface of the part, which combines more easily with other surfaces of the product.
  • Auto-calibration compatibility. The latest firmware ensures full compatibility with automatic calibration via Micro Lidar for the X1, P1, A1 and P2 series.
  • Mandatory glue application. Before printing with any material, glue should be applied to the plate — stick or liquid, depending on the filament and printing conditions.

  • Printing engineering plastics: surface heat resistance of up to 120 °C allows stable printing of ABS, ASA, PC and PA-CF with a bed temperature of 90–110 °C without deforming the coating.
  • Production of functional parts: the flat surface ensures consistent quality of the bottom layer for parts requiring precise fit with other assemblies.

Care and storage

  • Surface cleaning: regularly wash the plate with warm water and dish soap — dust and grease deposits reduce adhesion. Do not use acetone, as it damages the coating.
  • Removing parts: let the plate cool for a few minutes before removing the model — this makes removal easier and prevents damage to the coating.
  • Glue type: use only genuine Bambu Lab glue — the manufacturer is not responsible for damage to the plate caused by third-party glue.
