PUDU MP2000 Autonomous Forklift

PUDU MP2000 is an autonomous forklift for warehouse logistics that optimises freight transport. The system adapts to dynamic spaces without any room modifications. Thanks to 3D navigation and artificial intelligence, the robot moves pallets weighing up to 2,000 kg with minimal operator intervention.

Key features and benefits

  • Load capacity: 2,000 kg — Allows the transport of heavy industrial loads without manual labour.
  • Pick-up speed: 20 s — Ensures rapid fork insertion, significantly reducing cycle time.
  • Minimum aisle width: 2,000 mm — Increases storage density in narrow warehouse rows without facility expansion.
  • Fast deployment: operates without complex integration or floor marking, accelerating commissioning.
  • Adaptive alignment: corrects offsets of up to 15 cm and angles up to 15°, automatically engaging unevenly placed pallets.
  • Intelligent recognition: identifies both standard pallets and non-standard cargo trolleys for precise contact.
  • Flexible coordination: supports control via PUDU Link, APIs, or voice commands for fleet dispatch.

Intelligent recognition and autonomous pick-up

The equipment uses multi-sensor navigation based on 3D LiDAR and VSLAM to build a map without room preparation. The forklift analyses the surrounding space, detects the occupancy of storage locations, and plans the optimal route. The artificial intelligence autonomously recognises standard three-runner and perimeter-base pallets.

Forklift forks with pallets of different standards
Pallet pick-up: the forks demonstrate compatibility with three-runner and perimeter-base pallets.

Machine learning algorithms allow the identification of non-standard industrial trolleys for precise contact with the forks. The adaptive alignment system automatically compensates for pallet offsets of up to 15 cm and angular deviations of up to 15°. This eliminates the need for manual adjustment of the load position before pick-up.

Non-standard loads: three robots working with trolleys, including a cylinder holder, a container rack, and a hopper.

Space optimisation and manoeuvrability

Compact dimensions allow the equipment to operate in aisles starting from 2,000 mm in width. The device minimises the distance between pallets to 15 cm, maximising useful storage volume.

Aisle width: the automated forklift manoeuvres in a warehouse row, projecting a 2 m line onto the floor.

Real-time clearance assessment helps the system analyse load contours for safe movement. The robot negotiates thresholds up to 10 mm high and gaps up to 35 mm in complex operating conditions.

Dimensions assessment: the forklift transports a 1.0 × 1.2 m pallet with a navigation route overlaid on the floor.

Cycle performance and safety

The device optimises transport thanks to a fork insertion speed of just 20 s. The robot reaches speeds of up to 1.6 m/s unloaded and 1.2 m/s loaded, ensuring high throughput.

Autonomous PUDU MP2000 forklift projecting blue navigation beams
Navigation system: the autonomous forklift projects blue navigation beams onto the warehouse floor.

The multi-level Omni-Sense safety system integrates 3D LiDAR and depth cameras for a 360-degree view. The forklift dynamically recognises obstacles, stops in front of moving objects, or autonomously alters its route in the presence of static barriers.

Distributed control allows the equipment fleet to share data and coordinate routes even in the absence of a connection. IoT integration via PUDU Link turns the forklift into an element of a unified ecosystem with automatic doors and lifts.

Areas of application

  • Production lines: ensures an uninterrupted supply of materials to workstations without manual labour.
  • Warehouse complexes: performs autonomous sorting and movement of pallets weighing up to 2,000 kg in narrow aisles.
  • Logistics centres: accelerates the transshipment of goods between receiving and dispatch zones thanks to a 20 s working cycle.
  • Dynamic environments: manoeuvres safely in areas with mixed equipment and personnel traffic using obstacle avoidance algorithms.
