PUDU SH1 – Compact Smart Commercial Floor Scrubber

PUDU SH1 is a compact walk-behind scrubber dryer built for commercial floors. It targets restaurant kitchens, retail stores, and hospitality venues battling grease and food residue. A brushless motor spins the disc brushes at 350 rpm. A swappable 18 Ah battery sustains a full working shift. The low-profile chassis fits narrow service corridors without pausing the cleaning workflow.

SpecificationValueWhy it matters
Suction Power20,000 PaPulls water into the sealed recovery tank instantly, leaving the floor dry and walkable within seconds.
Cleaning Productivity1,100–1,600 m²/hCovers large service areas in a single shift, cutting the number of passes needed.
Working Width44 cmPasses through narrow kitchen corridors and between fixed equipment without repositioning anything.
Tilt Angle25°Slides under dining tables and service counters, reaching floor areas a rigid-frame machine cannot.
  • Simultaneous scrub-and-dry pass: the brushless suction motor recovers cleaning fluid in real time, so the floor is walkable immediately instead of after a separate drying step.
  • 360° steering joint: the brush deck rotates through a full circle, letting the operator navigate table legs and fixed fixtures without reversing the machine.
  • Hot-swap 18 Ah battery: a depleted pack swaps for a charged one in seconds, so long cleaning shifts continue without a charging break.
  • Tool-free modular components: brushes, squeegee, tanks, and battery detach without tools, cutting the daily maintenance cycle to under five minutes.

Simultaneous Scrub-and-Dry Technology

Conventional mopping spreads contamination instead of removing it. The PUDU SH1 scrubs and vacuum-dries a floor in a single pass. A high-frequency disc brush system dissolves grease and food residue. The 20,000 Pa brushless suction motor then pulls the resulting liquid into a sealed 4 L recovery tank, leaving the surface dry within seconds. Pudu Robotics reports this workflow cuts water and cleaning-agent use by up to 80% and reduces total cleaning time by up to 70% compared with mop-based cleaning.

Construction & Maneuverability

360° Steering Joint

Restaurant floors are obstacle courses of table legs, trolleys, and fixed kitchen equipment. A multi-functional shaft connects the handlebar to the cleaning chassis through a 360° articulating steering joint. The brush deck rotates a full circle without the operator reversing or lifting the machine, turning tight table-leg navigation into one continuous motion.

Suction, Squeegee, and LED Illumination

The brushless vacuum motor draws dirty water through a 49 cm squeegee blade into the sealed recovery tank in real time, so no secondary drying pass is needed. The squeegee is height-adjustable — raised for Soak or Brush Max modes when saturation is intentional, lowered for standard scrub-dry passes.

A 44 cm working width reaches flush against skirting boards and tile edges, matching the scrub-dry result at perimeters to open floor areas. The integrated LED headlight adds visibility during low-light shifts, marking contamination boundaries the operator might otherwise miss.

25° Low-Profile Tilt

A posture-switch ring on the shaft tilts the handlebar column down to 25°, dropping the operating profile below 10 cm ground clearance. The SH1 slides under dining tables, service counters, and low shelving without moving them — removing a furniture-shifting step from full-service dining cleanup.

Multidimensional Cleaning — Accessory Ecosystem

Optional attachments connected to the accessory port extend the SH1 beyond horizontal hard floors to glass display cases, tiled walls, bathroom tiles, and mirrors. Dedicated Accessory and ECO Accessory modes route suction power to the handheld attachment, consolidating tasks that might otherwise need separate specialised machines.

Modular Maintenance & Hot-Swap Battery

Every major component — handlebar column, disc brushes, squeegee, solution tank, recovery tank, and battery — detaches without tools via snap-latch and twist-lock mechanisms. Brushes and squeegees rinse and tanks flush in under five minutes total, a routine that staff without technical training can complete unassisted. The hot-swap battery lets a depleted unit be replaced with a charged one instantly, keeping long sessions running without a charging pause.

Software & Automation

Smart Handlebar Diagnostics

An LCD touchscreen sits at the centre of the T-bar, within the operator's natural sightline. It shows the active cleaning mode, tank levels, motor health, and consumable wear. When it detects an anomaly — a blocked brush, a full tank, a depleted battery — it surfaces an illustrated alert naming the component, the likely cause, and the fix, without cryptic error codes or a printed manual.

PUDU Link App and Connectivity

The SH1 connects to the PUDU Link mobile app over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. After each session, the app generates a report of area covered, cleaning time, water use, and energy consumed, feeding facility reporting without manual logging. Fleet features include remote anti-theft locking, rental-duration management with auto-lock on expiry, multi-user PIN authentication, and over-the-air firmware updates.

Applications

The SH1 fills the gap between a commercial mop and a full-size ride-on scrubber, suited to venues roughly in the 200–1,500 m² range.

  • Restaurant kitchens: the scrub-dry pass removes grease and food residue from tile and sealed concrete without a separate mop-and-wait step.
  • Food court service corridors: the 44 cm working width and 360° steering joint keep the machine moving through narrow, obstacle-dense lanes.
  • Supermarket back-of-house: IPX4 splash resistance and high suction handle spills near cold-storage and stocking areas.
  • Hotel lobbies: Normal and Low Residue modes suit polished stone and coated wood floors seen in guest-facing areas.
  • Retail stores: the 25° tilt reaches under fixed display shelving without requiring stock to be moved.
  • Bathroom and washroom facilities: the IPX4 rating allows safe operation in areas with standing water and frequent wet cleaning.

Compatibility of the PUDU SH1
