xTool O1 Omni DT+UV Rotary — is a versatile 4-in-1 printer for printing on hard surfaces and textiles. This model eliminates the need to maintain separate devices for different production tasks. The dual printhead and rotary module allow images to be applied to acrylic, metal, cotton, or cylindrical items. The automatic maintenance system prevents the inks from drying out, significantly reducing the time required for regular maintenance.

Key features and benefits

  • Working print area: 330 × 420 mm — Apply images to large items or print a series of small details in a single work cycle.
  • Resolution: 720 × 1440 dpi — Reproduce fine lines and text down to 1 mm in size without losing contour sharpness.
  • Relief height: 7 mm — Create tangible physical textures and tactile effects on the surface of processed objects.
  • 4-in-1 versatility: support for UV, UV DTF, DTG, and DTF technologies to transfer designs onto most types of surfaces.
  • Pixel-Scan™ positioning accuracy: the system captures object data at a 1:1 scale, ensuring even application from the centre to the edges.
  • G7 certified colours: intelligent algorithms match the shades on the screen with the print result without false tone deviations.
  • Ink heating: an industrial ceramic heater maintains stable fluid flow even at a room temperature of 15 °C.

Operating principle and printing technologies

The xTool O1 Omni DT+UV Rotary uses two dedicated Epson F1080 printheads for different types of inks. This allows working with both UV materials (acrylic, glass) and textiles (cotton, polyester) without reconfiguring the system.

A white carriage with the xTool logo on a metal guide rail, with a camera at the front, a bundle of flat cables on the side, and two modules underneath.
Printhead carriage: The white xTool carriage with a camera moves along the guide rail, and underneath it are two printhead modules.

The Pixel-Scan™ system recognises the contours of the object and generates its digital copy in the software. It captures precise data for perfect positioning of the design on the item.

A selection of cards showing the printer's strengths: vision system, dual printing units, certified inks, printing on bags, t-shirts, caps, phone cases, and paintings.
Overview of printer capabilities: The dual-head printer with certified inks prints on fabrics and hard surfaces, including mugs, and also creates lenticular images.

Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology applies ink directly into the clothing fibres. Direct-to-film (DTF) transfer creates wash-resistant decals for unconventional textile shapes.

A young man in a denim jacket is laying out a dark t-shirt on the platen of the xTool printer featuring a bright comic-style design.
Printing on clothing using a platen: The printer features a sliding platen on which a t-shirt is secured for applying a colour image directly onto the fabric.

For bulky or curved surfaces, UV DTF is used. The film with the design is covered with hot-melt powder and transferred to the object using a specialised heat press.

A person peels a transparent film off a denim jacket with a colourful print, with a printer and a white heat press standing nearby.
Printing on a denim jacket: The printer and heat press allow you to transfer a vibrant, multicoloured pattern onto denim fabric.

Software control and automation

G7-certified colour profiles guarantee accurate graphics reproduction. The user gets rich shades identical to the image on the monitor.

Two prints of a parrot on a dark background side by side: the one on the left is brighter and sharper from the xTool O1 Omni, the one on the right is paler from other printers.
Colour print quality comparison: The xTool O1 Omni printer reproduces the parrot image with richer colours and sharper feather details than other printers.

The 1-Click Smart Mask feature automatically detects the boundaries of the part for borderless printing. The resolution allows reproducing small fonts down to 1 mm in size.

Two halves of a comparison featuring identical black badges on yellow and purple fabric, where in an enlarged circle on the left the microtext is sharp, and on the right it is blurry.
Microtext clarity comparison: The xTool O1 Omni printer prints fine microtext on badges sharply and legibly, whereas with other printers the letters come out blurred.

UV inks are noted for their high resistance to external factors. The finished items retain pigment vibrancy over a long period of use.

Two photos of a painting of a Dalmatian in a bathtub in a wooden frame: on the left is day one, on the right is three years later, the colours are almost indistinguishable.
Comparison: day 1 and 3 years later: A print with textured brushstrokes and rich colours looks just as fresh right after production and three years later.

The SmartCycle™ 2.0 system prevents inks from drying out during downtime. The dampers switch to moisturising fluid, keeping the system ready for up to 14 days.

Hardware and design

The OR1 rotary module supports mugs, glasses, and spherical objects with an internal diameter of 46.5–100 mm. The clamping chuck ensures a secure hold on the workpiece.

Two configurations of the rotary attachment with examples of finished products: thermal tumblers, glasses and mugs with patterns and names, as well as Christmas baubles and aluminium cans with applied inscriptions.
Two attachment kits for rotary engraving: The rotary attachment works in two configurations: with a jaw chuck for most shapes of mugs and glasses, and with jaws and a tailstock module for cans, baubles, and other small round objects.

The module automatically levels conical surfaces with a taper of -8° to 12°. The 360° angular rotation eliminates the need for manual measurement and minimises visible seams in the design.

Two steel tumblers with a Christmas reindeer pattern: on the left one the pattern seam is unnoticeable, on the right one a gap is visible.
Seamless printing around a tumbler: Rotary printing produces a continuous image around the entire circumference of a metal tumbler without a noticeable seam where the beginning and end of the design meet.

Safety and environmental friendliness

The built-in air purification system features carbon and HEPA filters that capture up to 96.4 % of volatile organic compounds. The eco-friendly inks have received GREENGUARD® Gold and OEKO-TEX® certifications.

Three plates with ink safety certificates next to hands inserting cartridges marked UV and DT into the printer slots.
Ink safety certifications: The UV and DT printing inks are GREENGUARD Gold and OEKO-TEX certified and contain no reproductive toxins.

Areas of application

  • Clothing branding: DTG technology transfers logos directly onto cotton t-shirts or hoodies at a high resolution of 720 × 1440 dpi.
  • Drinkware personalisation: the OR1 rotary module applies seamless circular images onto mugs, cans, and thermoses, automatically compensating for the surface slope.
  • Souvenir production: thanks to UV inks, the system forms relief designs up to 7 mm high on acrylic keyrings, magnets, and leather goods.
  • Promotional printing: the UV DTF method allows creating highly durable decals for quick transfer onto complex curved surfaces without using a heat press.

Compatible accessories and attachments

  • Roll feeding module: compatible with the xTool RF1 Roll Feeder for continuous material printing.
  • Heat press: supports the xTool WonderPress smart press for fixing DTG and DTF designs onto fabric.
  • Laminator: use of the xTool LM1 Laminator to create UV DTF decals and foiling effects.
