PUDU MT1 Vac – Robot Aspirador Industrial Autónomo

PUDU MT1 Vac is a commercial-grade autonomous cleaning robot for demanding venues. It sweeps, vacuums, and dust-mops in one pass across airports, hotels, and halls. A fused LiDAR SLAM and VSLAM navigation stack keeps it oriented as crowds and furniture shift. Dual independent air ducts pin dust to the floor before the roller brush arrives.

SpecificationValueWhy it matters
Max. Cleaning Coverage1,400 m²/hClears an entire airport concourse or ballroom floor within a single operational shift.
Vacuuming Width55 cmRoughly double a standard commercial vacuum head, cutting the number of passes needed.

  • Dual-fan air duct system: boosts suction efficiency by 200% versus single-duct machines, so dust stays pinned to the floor instead of scattering into the air.
  • Fused LiDAR SLAM + VSLAM navigation: keeps the robot correctly localised even when furniture, crowds, or temporary stalls change the floor plan.
  • AI floor recognition: automatically adjusts suction and brush speed between carpet and hard floor, removing the need for operator mode-switching.
  • Tool-free modular components: lets on-site staff swap brushes, dustbags, and mop plates in seconds, keeping the fleet in service between shifts.

The clip below demonstrates the MT1 Vac completing an autonomous sweeping and vacuuming pass on a real commercial floor plan.

Dual-Fan Deep Suction Technology

Conventional commercial vacuums move air through a single duct. The MT1 Vac instead runs a dual independent air duct system, raising suction efficiency by 200% compared with single-duct designs. High-velocity airflow pins fine dust to the floor before the roller brush arrives, suppressing the dust clouds that single-pass machines typically scatter. Paper shreds, wood chips, sand and granular debris all fall within its operating specification. Suction also stays consistent across hard-floor-to-carpet transitions, without any manual brush-speed adjustment.

The robot's low-slung chassis places both side brushes ahead of the main intake, sweeping loose debris inward before vacuuming begins.

Viewed from the side, the compact enclosure and reinforced wheelbase reveal why the unit tracks a straight line even on uneven tile joints.

Coverage Geometry: 55 cm Vacuum Path, 70 cm Sweep Width

Most commercial upright vacuums operate on a 25–30 cm head. At 55 cm suction width and 70 cm sweep width, side brushes included, the robot covers far more ground per pass. A conventional machine typically needs two or three passes to clean the same area. At cruise speeds up to 1.2 m/s, that geometry drives the 1,400 m²/h throughput figure noted above. A 52 cm clearance height also lets it slide under racks, display stands and lobby furniture without operator intervention.

LiDAR SLAM + VSLAM Navigation

The positioning stack fuses three complementary methods. LiDAR SLAM handles laser-based spatial mapping, VSLAM adds visual simultaneous localisation and mapping for feature recognition, and visual Marker positioning anchors the fixed startup location. This redundant architecture keeps the robot correctly localised even when furniture is rearranged, temporary stalls appear, or crowds move through the cleaning zone. Minimum path clearance is 75 cm, and corridors wider than 80 cm allow full-speed travel without any slowdown.

In open venues with few fixed landmarks, the onboard laser continuously rebuilds a map of the surrounding space to keep the route accurate.

Live mapping: the LiDAR cone sweeps the entire hall floor to build the route the robot will follow.

AI Floor Recognition

An onboard AI vision module classifies floor surface type in real time. Entering a carpet zone triggers automatic adjustment of suction intensity and roller-brush speed, protecting delicate pile while still extracting embedded particulate. Returning to hard floor reverts the system to standard parameters without any operator input. A companion feature, AI Exemption, lets operators teach the robot to ignore decorative floor patterns that the camera might otherwise flag as debris.

At the exact seam where flooring changes, most single-mode robots either under-clean the carpet or wear it down; here the onboard camera reacts first.

Surface transition: suction and brush speed shift automatically the instant the wheels cross from tile onto carpet.

AI Smart Spot Cleaning

During standard inspection passes, the AI vision system continuously scans for debris concentrations. When it identifies a hotspot, such as a spill or scattered litter, the robot deviates from its planned route, runs a targeted cleaning sequence, then returns to the original path. Ultra Spot Clean mode extends this logic further: heat-map analysis of high-traffic areas triggers extra passes in zones statistically likely to accumulate waste.

The clip below shows Ultra Spot Clean triggering an unplanned detour toward a debris hotspot before the robot resumes its original route.

Dustbag, Dustbin and Filtration

Cleaning throughput means little if a robot needs constant emptying. The MT1 Vac carries two independent 7 L dustbags, for 14 L of combined capacity, backed by a separate 6 L hard-shell bin for larger debris that bypasses the bag circuit. This dual-reservoir layout extends the distance covered before a maintenance stop is needed. Under typical mixed-duty conditions, emptying frequency drops well below once per shift.

A cutaway of the interior confirms how the dual-bag layout doubles capacity without enlarging the robot's footprint.

H11 / H13 HEPA Filtration

The standard H11-grade HEPA filter captures over 98% of particles down to 0.3 µm, fine enough to trap airborne particulates raised during floor cleaning. Facilities with stricter air-quality needs, such as pharmaceutical corridors or healthcare reception areas, can specify the optional H13 filter instead, raising capture efficiency to 99.97% at 0.3 µm. Neither grade is washable; weekly replacement is recommended under standard commercial use.

Tool-Free Modular Maintenance

Commercial cleaning robots accumulate wear across five consumable categories. The MT1 Vac addresses this with a fully modular design: dust mop plates, dustbin, dustbag assembly, roller brush and side brushes all detach without tools. Each swap takes seconds rather than minutes, which matters in airport and hotel environments where the fleet must return to service quickly between maintenance windows.

Laid out piece by piece, the modular design shows why a full consumable swap takes seconds rather than a maintenance visit.

Consumable map: every replaceable part — brushes, bags, filters, and mop plate — detaches without tools.
Expert Verdict: The dual-fan architecture is the specification that separates the MT1 Vac from typical autonomous sweepers. Where a single-duct robot leaves a visible dust trail and a conventional vacuum needs several overlapping passes, this unit's 200% suction efficiency and 55 cm path close the job in one autonomous run. Schedule HEPA replacement weekly regardless of visual inspection — H11 media loads quickly in dense-traffic environments, and airflow restriction develops before fouling becomes visible. For pharmaceutical or healthcare corridors, specify the H13 option at order time. For carpeted event spaces, enable AI Floor Recognition before the first autonomous run so the robot maps surface type before the venue fills with guests.

Hand-Vacuum Extension

A quick-release hose extends the MT1 Vac's reach to surfaces the robot body cannot access: sofa cushion edges, vertical wall bases, glass partitions and elevated display surfaces. This single feature closes the gap between autonomous floor cleaning and the manual work a facility supervisor otherwise expects after every robot pass.

The following demonstration shows the quick-release hose reaching a sofa edge that the robot body alone could not clean.

IoT Integration: Elevators, E-Gates and PUDU Link

The MT1 Vac supports full building IoT integration through the PUDU Link platform. Elevator dispatch APIs let it call and board lifts on its own, enabling multi-floor cleaning without a human escort. Electronic gate integration opens access-controlled zones, such as terminal boarding corridors or hotel restricted areas, automatically as the robot approaches. Communication options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and optional LoRa / 2.4G for facilities with specific network topologies.

Access-controlled corridors, such as boarding gates or restricted hotel areas, no longer need staff standing by to let the robot through.

Automatic Charging and Continuous Operation

A dedicated auto-charging base station supports continuous 24/7 deployment cycles. When battery level nears its minimum threshold, the MT1 Vac navigates to the dock on its own, connects through contact electrodes, and resumes its cleaning schedule once recharged. Full recharge takes approximately 3.5 h. Scheduled tasks run at pre-set times, maximising cleaning hours during off-peak periods when floors are empty and accessible.

When battery level drops near its threshold, the unit finds its own way back to this dock without any operator intervention.

How to Set Up and Start Your First Automatic Cleaning Task

This procedure covers the initial charge, power-on sequence, positioning, and task launch needed to begin autonomous cleaning on the MT1 Vac (model MTBC02).

Step 1: Charge to 100% Before First Use

Connect the supplied charger to the port on the robot's side panel. Let the battery reach 100% before running any cleaning task. Never start first-time operation on a partial charge — this protects long-term battery capacity and ensures full runtime on the first run.

Step 2: Power On the Robot

Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds until the front LED strip turns blue. Wait for the 10.1-inch LCD screen to finish booting before continuing.

Step 3: Position the Robot at the Visual Marker

Place the MT1 Vac directly at the visual positioning Marker for the designated startup location. Accurate positioning here is required for the LiDAR SLAM + VSLAM system to anchor its coordinate reference correctly.

Step 4: Lower the Handlebar and Secure the Screen

Lower the handlebar fully to the robot body — automatic mode requires the handle down. If the screen was detached for manual operation, reinsert it into its chassis compartment before starting.

Step 5: Configure the Cleaning Task on the LCD Screen

Using the touchscreen, select the target zone, set suction level (Low / Medium / High), and configure a schedule if timed cleaning is required. Verify battery level is above 10% before starting.

Step 6: Start the Automatic Cleaning Task

Tap Start on the LCD screen. The MT1 Vac departs from the Marker position, runs the configured pass autonomously, and returns to the dock once the task completes or recharging is needed.
