The true competitive advantage of the Elegoo Centauri Carbon lies in its ability to process technical filaments without compromising component integrity. Equipped with a hotend capable of reaching 320 °C, a hardened steel nozzle, and a titanium alloy heat break, the system is fully prepared to print with Carbon Fibre (CF) and Glass Fibre (GF). This configuration is essential for engineers who require parts with an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and high thermal stability.
High-precision kinematics and extreme speed
Maximum speed means nothing without absolute motion control. Where other machines produce visual artefacts under acceleration, the Centauri Carbon uses a high-rigidity integrated die-cast aluminium chassis. This structure allows it to exploit accelerations of 20,000 mm/s² and speeds of up to 500 mm/s whilst maintaining an impeccable surface finish. Integrated vibration compensation and pressure advance algorithms eliminate ghosting, delivering uniform layers and precise tolerances even during the fastest production cycles.
Intelligent ecosystem and workplace safety
In the modern professional environment, remote monitoring and air quality are critical factors. The internal AI camera allows you to monitor progress in real time and document your projects via automatic timelapses. In addition, the advanced nano-mineral crystal filtration system neutralises odours and harmful microparticles when processing materials such as ABS or ASA, ensuring a safe working environment. With power-loss recovery and filament run-out detection, the success rate of your prints is fully safeguarded.
