How Does the Roller Module Work?
In standard laser engraving, the head moves across a flat surface.
But if you want to apply an image to a bottle, glass, flask, can, or even a baseball bat, you need a way to rotate the object so the laser can engrave sequentially around the full circumference.
That is precisely what the roller module is for. Simply do the following:
- Place the object on the rubber rollers.
- One of the rollers is driven by a stepper motor, rotating the object.
- The laser beam remains static on the Y-axis, and the rotation of the object allows it to be engraved in a full circle.
- The system uses gravity-based holding — no clamps required. This means you can swap objects quickly without spending time on additional adjustments.
