Raise3D E2 3D Printer
Introducing the Raise3D E2 – a compact, productive dual-extrusion FFF printer built for professional 3D printing in education, prototyping, and manufacturing.
It delivers outstanding print performance:
- High precision and print speed.
- Large build volume of 330×240×240 mm, fully enclosed within the printer housing.
- Supports dual-extrusion printing via an IDEX (Independent Dual Extruder) system, expanding the machine's capabilities and enabling faster results.
- Minimum layer thickness of 20 microns.
- IDEX – a dual-extruder system where both extruders move and print independently.
- Easy Swap print heads – quick and straightforward to replace and maintain.
- Automatic bed levelling significantly simplifies working with the printer.
- Easy removal of finished prints thanks to the flexible BuildTak-coated build surface.
- Wide range of compatible filaments, including flexible, flame-retardant, and temperature-sensitive materials.
- HEPA air filter, filament runout sensor, door-open sensor, and power loss recovery.
- Large touchscreen, remote control and monitoring.
- Works with the ideaMaker slicer, the ideaMaker Library, and the RaiseCloud cloud service.
The Raise3D E2 also features a fully enclosed chamber, a heated build plate, and a nozzle capable of reaching 300 °C. These specifications allow printing with virtually any material, including flexible filaments. Automatic bed levelling is included as standard.
The E2 printers are solidly built and designed to be easy to use. This ensures the best possible 3D printing experience for every application and user.
Precise, Affordable and Reliable
The Raise3D E2 features a dual-extruder system called IDEX (Independent Dual Extruders), where both extruders move and print independently. Moving along the same axis during printing, the two extruders can carry out independent tasks in Mirror Mode (simultaneous printing of symmetrical models) and Duplication Mode (synchronised printing of identical models). This eliminates the need to create a separate mirrored design file and effectively doubles the printer's throughput.
Easy Swap Print Heads
The Raise3D E2 features a particularly convenient design: Easy Swap Print Heads that can be removed with ease. They allow quick and simple replacement of the print head, swapping the nozzle for a different type or size, and carrying out other maintenance tasks.
Automatic Bed Levelling
A level build surface is a critical factor in achieving high-quality print results, and automatic levelling significantly simplifies the process. The intelligent Auto Bed Levelling system measures the distance between the build surface and the nozzle using a sensor at multiple points across the build plate, then adjusts the nozzle to maintain the correct distance throughout the print. This means the extruder can adapt to minor variations in surface contour, resulting in better first-layer adhesion and improved quality in finished models.
Flexible Build Plate on the Raise3D E2 3D Printer
The printer features a flexible, removable build surface cover – the BuildTak FlexPlate – which makes removing finished prints easier, faster, and less likely to cause damage.
Remote 3D Print Monitoring with Camera
The Raise3D E2 includes a built-in video camera so you can observe the 3D printing process inside the build chamber. The camera operates via the RaiseCloud connection, allowing users to track every print job remotely.
Compatible with a Wide Range of Filaments – Printing up to 300 °C
The Raise3D E2's specifications – including its fully enclosed build chamber and maximum nozzle temperature of 300 °C – allow it to work with a broad range of printing materials: PLA, ABS, HIPS, PC, TPU, TPE, NYLON, PETG, ASA, PP, PVA, glass fibre-reinforced, carbon fibre-reinforced, metal particle-filled, and wood fibre-filled filaments.
Since the Raise3D E2 is compatible with different material types, you can use multiple filaments of different types within a single print job. This makes printing complex projects on this 3D printer both cost-effective and practically justified.
Useful Features
- Power loss recovery. To protect your print results, you can be confident that a power cut or filament runout during the process will not cause the print job to be lost. The printer detects such events and saves the print job so it can resume once power is restored.
- Door-open sensor. Automatic detection of an open door with immediate print pause.
- Full metal frame. Creates a stable, reliable environment for smooth movement and precise positioning, ensuring high-quality prints. The metal frame provides a dedicated motion system that allows the machine to move smoothly throughout the print.
- HEPA air filtration removes toxic particles released during the 3D printing process. The E2's HEPA air filter operates quietly, designed for unobtrusive background operation in an office, classroom, meeting room, or workshop.
- 7-inch touchscreen for effective control of the 3D printing process. The built-in camera and RaiseCloud connectivity allow every print job to be tracked remotely. Integrated settings control, on-screen help, and visual model selection.
