The flexible resin BioMed Flex 80A is Formlabs' new benchmark elastomeric material. This is a medical-grade material — firm yet flexible — designed specifically for 3D printing transparent parts that demand high durability and, above all, certified biocompatibility.

With BioMed Flex 80A, you get the best of both worlds: the flexibility and ease of use you already know from the Flexible 80A resin, combined with the rigorous medical certifications your healthcare projects require.

This material is certified to ISO 10993 and USP Class VI standards. It is also manufactured in FDA-registered, ISO 13485-certified facilities. This means you can use it with complete confidence for applications requiring prolonged skin contact (up to 30 days) and brief mucosal contact (up to 24 hours).
