Yes. The F2 is fully backwards-compatible with all F1 accessories, with the sole exception of the Rolling Hard Case. It integrates seamlessly into your existing xTool hardware ecosystem:

• xTool RA3 and RA2 Pro: for engraving cylindrical or ring-shaped items up to 120 mm in diameter.
• xTool F1 Slide Extension: expands the work area to 115 mm × 400 mm for continuous conveyor-belt-style batch engraving.
• Foot pedal or button switch xTool F1: enables quick hands-free operation for repetitive batch jobs.
• Desktop air purifier and filters: captures and filters smoke and odours to maintain a healthy indoor commercial environment.

The F2 accommodates a highly versatile range of object sizes:

• Standard area: 115 mm × 115 mm, ideal for small items, labels, and jewellery.
• Extended area: 115 mm × 400 mm (with the Slide Extension accessory), perfect for production runs and elongated pieces.
• Maximum workpiece height: up to 120 mm, offering slightly more clearance than the F1 (which is limited to approximately 113 mm).

The integrated 5W IR laser module (1064 nm) is specifically designed for high-contrast metal marking and engraving. It produces sharp detail and structural depth across a wide range of metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, titanium alloys, plated metals, anodised aluminium, gold, silver, and platinum.

Currently, the F2 operates exclusively within the highly optimised xTool Studio environment (formerly known as XCS). It is not compatible with third-party software such as LightBurn at this time.

Available for both Windows and macOS, xTool Studio functions as a centralised, beginner-friendly application that seamlessly manages vector design, layout preparation, material parameter configuration, and direct machine control — all in one place.
