The PUDU SH1 is a professional compact walk-behind scrubber dryer built for commercial environments where greasy, slippery floors demand more than a mop can deliver — restaurants, food service kitchens, retail stores, supermarkets, and hospitality venues. Powered by a brushless motor running at 350 rpm with 20,000 Pa suction and an 18 Ah swappable battery, the SH1 covers up to 1,600 m²/h, fits through 44 cm corridors, and tilts to 25° to slide under furniture without stopping.

Designed for the Hardest Commercial Floors
Conventional mopping spreads contamination; it does not remove it. The PUDU SH1 changes this equation with simultaneous scrubbing and vacuum drying in a single pass. The high-pressure, high-frequency disc brush system dissolves grease and food residue while the 20,000 Pa brushless suction motor pulls the resulting liquid directly into the sealed 4 L recovery tank — leaving the floor dry and walkable within seconds. Pudu Robotics reports that the SH1 cuts water and cleaning agent consumption by 80% versus mop-based workflows and reduces total cleaning time by up to 70%.
The photograph below captures the SH1 at work in a fine-dining environment, recovering a sauce spill from marble flooring under active service conditions — exactly the scenario where simultaneous scrub-and-dry output is non-negotiable.
360° Steering Joint — No Blind Zones in Dense Layouts
Restaurant floors are obstacle courses. Tables, chair legs, service trolleys, and fixed kitchen equipment create a geometry that machines with rigid axles cannot navigate without repeated repositioning. The SH1's multi-functional shaft connects the handlebar column to the cleaning chassis via a 360° articulating steering joint — the brush deck can rotate a full circle without the operator having to reverse or lift the machine. Threading between table legs and circling fixed fixtures becomes a single continuous motion.
The close-up below captures the 360° rotation indicator on the SH1 chassis, with the machine's integrated LED light strip illuminating floor contamination immediately ahead of the brush zone — useful for low-light kitchen or after-hours service environments.
20,000 Pa Brushless Suction — Instant Dry Floor
Wet floors in commercial environments are a liability. The SH1's brushless vacuum motor generates 20,000 Pa of negative pressure, drawing dirty water through the 49 cm wide squeegee blade and into the sealed recovery tank in real time. No secondary drying pass required. The floor surface behind the machine's travel path is visually dry immediately — eliminating the slip-hazard window that traditional mop-and-wait workflows create. The squeegee is height-adjustable: raise it during Soak or Brush Max modes when floor saturation is intentional; lower it for all standard scrub-dry passes.
The front-profile view below shows the SH1's cleaning chassis at ground level — the wide squeegee spanning its full 49 cm recovery width at the rear of the brush deck, with the front LED indicator bar active.
44 cm Working Width: Every Edge, Every Corner
A 44 cm working width is narrow enough for kitchen corridors, service lifts, and gaps between fixed catering equipment, yet wide enough to deliver productive area coverage. The brush deck reaches flush against skirting boards and tile edges, delivering the same scrub-dry result at perimeters as in open floor areas. The integrated LED headlight illuminates the working zone during low-light cleaning shifts, giving the operator precise visibility of surface condition and contamination boundaries.
The frame below shows the SH1 working at a tight wall-edge junction, the LED strip cutting through low ambient light to reveal the remaining spill margin — the precision that matters in hygiene-critical environments.
25° Low-Profile Tilt for Under-Furniture Access
The multi-functional shaft's posture-switch ring allows the handlebar column to tilt down to a 25° angle, reducing the machine's operating profile to under 10 cm ground clearance. The SH1 slides under restaurant dining tables, service counters, and low display shelving without moving them. In full-service dining environments, moving furniture for floor cleaning disrupts table settings and consumes time — this tilt mechanism eliminates that bottleneck entirely.
The photograph below shows the tilt in practice — the SH1 inserted beneath a dining table at 25°, cleaning the floor underneath while the table setting remains completely undisturbed.
Multidimensional Cleaning — One Machine, Every Surface
The SH1's accessory ecosystem extends its reach beyond horizontal hard floors. With optional attachments connected to the accessory port, the same machine transitions from floor scrubbing to vertical surface cleaning: glass display cases, tiled kitchen walls, bathroom tiles, and mirrors. Dedicated accessory cleaning modes (Accessory, ECO Accessory) route suction power directly to the handheld attachment, making the SH1 a tool consolidation solution for facilities that currently deploy multiple specialised machines for different surface types.
The diagram below illustrates the five cleaning configurations available from a single SH1 unit: regular floor cleaning, edge cleaning, table top cleaning, low-profile space cleaning, and vertical surface cleaning.
Modular Design — Tool-Free Maintenance in Under Five Minutes
Every major component of the SH1 is quick-release: handlebar column, disc brushes, squeegee, solution tank, recovery tank, and battery all detach without tools via snap-latch and twist-lock mechanisms. This reduces the post-shift maintenance burden on cleaning staff who may not have technical training. Brushes and squeegees need rinsing after each use; tanks need emptying and flushing. With the SH1's modular architecture, the full daily maintenance cycle takes under five minutes. The hot-swap battery design allows uninterrupted operation across long cleaning sessions by swapping a depleted unit for a charged one instantly.
The component view below shows the SH1's multi-functional shaft in its detached configuration, with the green quick-release latch system that connects the handlebar assembly to the cleaning chassis clearly visible.
Smart Handlebar with Contextual On-Screen Diagnostics
The integrated LCD touchscreen sits at the centre of the T-bar handlebar, within the operator's natural sightline during a cleaning pass. It displays the active cleaning mode, real-time solution and recovery tank levels, motor health indicators, and consumable wear status. When the machine detects an anomaly — a blocked brush, a full recovery tank, a depleted battery — it surfaces a contextual alert with an illustrated guide identifying the affected component, the probable cause, and the corrective action step by step. No cryptic error codes. No printed manual required.
The display below shows an active "Brush Motor Abnormal" diagnostic alert on the handlebar screen — the interface identifies the component, describes the likely cause, and guides the operator through resolution, while the lime-green bilateral operation buttons remain accessible on either side of the screen.
PUDU Link App — Real-Time Cleaning Intelligence
The SH1 connects to the PUDU Link mobile application over Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz), enabling a full digital management layer above the physical cleaning operation. After each cleaning session, PUDU Link generates a post-cleaning report: area covered, total cleaning time, water consumption, and energy used. This data feeds facility management reporting and cleaning contract verification without manual logging. Fleet-level features include remote anti-theft locking (manual or automatic on extended network disconnection), rental duration management with machine auto-lock on expiry, multi-user power-on PIN authentication, and over-the-air firmware updates.
The app screenshot below shows a live PUDU Link session: 15 minutes of cleaning time, 300 m² covered, 2 L of water consumed, battery at 80% and charging — the granularity that makes cleaning operations measurable rather than estimated.

Step 1: Fully Charge the Battery Before First Use
Plug the charger cable into the battery, aligning the metal clip until it engages audibly. The battery indicator lights red during charging and turns green when complete. Press the battery level display button to confirm all indicator lights are on before proceeding. For first use or after more than 7 days without use, press the battery level button once to activate the battery cell.
Step 2: Install the Battery and Splash Guards
Insert the charged battery into the battery compartment and push until the latch clicks. Align the two fixing clips on the splash guards with the chassis card holes and press to seat — one on each side.
Step 3: Install Disc Brushes and Squeegee
With the machine in the store position, align each disc brush with its chassis mount and rotate outward to lock. Screw the squeegee vacuum hose into the suction port (1/4 turn clockwise to secure), then align the squeegee pin holes with the chassis pins and press both sides into place.
Step 4: Fill the Solution Tank
Press the top of the solution tank to remove it from the machine. Open the rubber cap and fill with clean water below 45 °C, adding low-foam detergent as required. Reinsert the tank into the chassis groove and press the snap button until you hear a click confirming it is locked in place.
Step 5: Power On, Select Mode, and Begin Cleaning
Press and hold the power switch for 3 seconds until the startup animation and tone confirm the machine is on. Swipe the touchscreen to select the cleaning mode (Normal for daily use; Heavy Duty for grease-heavy areas). Use the posture-switch ring to transition the machine from park position to working position. Press either side of the bilateral operation button to start the disc brushes and suction, then push the machine forward to begin cleaning.
What types of floor does the PUDU SH1 clean?
The PUDU SH1 is designed for indoor hard floor surfaces: ceramic tile, porcelain, sealed concrete, marble, natural stone, and coated wooden floors (using the Low Residue mode). It is not suitable for carpets or outdoor surfaces. The IPX4 splash-proof rating means the machine operates safely in wet cleaning environments including kitchens and restrooms.
How long does the PUDU SH1 battery last per charge?
The 18 Ah battery delivers approximately 70 minutes of run-time in Normal mode and up to 100 minutes in ECO mode. Charging takes 2.5 hours. The hot-swap battery design means a second fully charged unit can be installed in seconds for uninterrupted operation across longer cleaning sessions.
Can the SH1 clean under furniture and in tight corridors?
Yes. The multi-functional shaft tilts to a 25° working angle, reducing operating height to under 10 cm — sufficient to clean under most restaurant tables and service counters. The 44 cm working width also allows access through narrow kitchen corridors and between fixed equipment without repositioning the furniture.
How many cleaning modes does the PUDU SH1 offer?
The SH1 offers 9 cleaning modes: Heavy Duty, Normal, ECO, Low Residue, Soak, Water Suction, Brush Max, Accessory, and ECO Accessory. Each mode independently configures brush speed, suction level, and water flow for the target surface and contamination type. Up to 4 modes can be pinned to the home screen for rapid access during a shift.
Does the PUDU SH1 connect to a smartphone application?
Yes. The SH1 connects to the PUDU Link application via Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz). The app provides post-cleaning session reports covering area cleaned, time, water consumption, and energy use. Management features include remote anti-theft locking, power-on PIN authentication with multiple users, rental period management with auto-lock on expiry, and over-the-air firmware updates.
