Introducing the Raise3D Hyper Speed Upgrade Kit — a high-speed 3D printing expansion kit for Pro3 series 3D printers.

This is a comprehensive hardware, software, and filament expansion package for your Pro3 and Pro3 Plus 3D printer, enabling high-speed, high-quality 3D printing.

Installing this kit and printing with the specially developed Hyper Speed filament range will increase print speed from an average of 50–80 mm/s to 200–350 mm/s — with no loss of print precision or part quality.

With the new Hyper Speed function enabled, the printer can process 600–1000 g of filament within 24 hours. Any part weighing under 400 grams will be ready in 12 hours.

• Upgrade Letter – a software upgrade letter containing a code to download the files required to update the Pro3 series.

* Please note that for Hyper Speed to function correctly on a Hyper-activated Pro3 series printer, it is essential to install the 0.4 mm Hyper Speed hotends (Pro3 series only), the Hyper Speed automatic calibrator (Pro3 series only), and the Hyper Speed filaments. The absence of any of these components may result in print failure.

Hyper Speed Automatic Calibrator

With this automatic frequency calibrator, the Pro3 series printer can measure its own frequency and adjust parameters autonomously. Thanks to the robust and stable construction of the Pro3 series, the printer can maintain its own frequency for months without change. It is recommended to carry out the calibration process every 2–3 months. A manual calibration process is also included.

Hyper Speed ABS and PLA High-Speed Filaments

The Hyper Speed filament range includes the most widely used printing materials — ABS and PLA — which have been specially redesigned and optimised for high-speed FFF printing.

During high-speed printing, filament is fed rapidly into the thermal block, giving the polymer very little time to melt to a liquid state. This can cause nozzle blockages and poor layer bonding quality. Furthermore, during high-speed printing without a heated enclosure, ABS is prone to warping and delamination in the printed part.

• Active Vibration Reduction Algorithm

At the core of Hyper FFF™ technology is an active vibration suppression algorithm. This algorithm calculates an optimised acceleration pattern and absorbs excess vibration each time the print head changes direction at high speed.

By measuring the natural frequency of the extruder head, the processor splits a single acceleration command into two equivalent accelerations, generating two inverse vibration waves. These waves cancel out the natural vibration during the inverse phase, allowing the print head to minimise its own friction and oscillation using the same hardware.

To support extremely high print speeds, Pro3 series printers feature a robust and stable frame that withstands the impact of extremely high accelerations and speeds. This ensures high dimensional accuracy and an excellent surface finish. In addition, the advanced integrated processors can handle more than six hundred thousand steps per second and execute the active vibration suppression algorithm on Pro3 series 3D printers.

• Filaments

Specially developed for high-speed 3D printing, Hyper Speed filaments are engineered to withstand high speeds whilst maintaining high quality. They offer greater fluidity and lower heat capacity. Melting and cooling occur more rapidly.

• Software

Raise3D keeps the slicer software up to date, ensuring users always have access to the latest filament profiles and can make the most of their Raise3D printers. The software capabilities developed by Raise3D are a key component of Hyper FFF™ in achieving the goal of high-speed printing.
