Scale up your transparent parts production with the high-volume Formlabs Clear Resin V5 Form 4, 5L cartridge. Designed exclusively for the new Form 4 ecosystem, this next-generation general-purpose resin delivers rigid, precise, and optically clear parts at unprecedented speeds. Clear Resin V5 is engineered to be polished to near-optical clarity, making it the ideal material for working with light, showcasing internal features, or creating transparent prototypes.
Please note: This 5L cartridge requires a Resin Pump to operate. Items in this volume are manufactured to order and may have a lead time of more than 5 weeks.

Why choose Clear Resin?

Clear Resin V5 is a rigid material that balances fast print speeds with high dimensional accuracy and exceptional surface quality. It is perfect for creating parts that require translucency or a view of internal mechanics.

Unrivalled optical clarity

Create parts that rival acrylic and glass. With straightforward post-processing and polishing, Clear Resin V5 achieves near-optical transparency. The V5 formulation offers a more neutral, clearer colour compared to previous versions, ensuring your parts look professional and true to design.

High-speed production

Harness the power of the Form 4 ecosystem. Clear Resin V5 is formulated to print up to three times faster than the previous V4 generation, enabling rapid iteration and high-volume throughput without sacrificing detail or surface finish.

Smooth, professional surface finish

Prints come off the build platform with a smooth surface finish that minimises layer lines. This makes it an excellent choice for presentation models, lighting components, and fluidic devices where surface quality is paramount.

Ideal applications

Clear Resin V5 is a versatile material suited to a wide range of engineering and design applications, including:

  • Optics and lighting: Lenses, light guides, prisms, and LED housings.
  • Fluidics: Microfluidic devices, manifolds, and millifluidic channels.
  • Visual prototyping: Transparent models, housings, and covers to display internal components.
  • Mould making: Moulds and dies similar to polycarbonate.
